The BRK SMI100 is a battery-operated ionization smoke alarm from BRK — The Professional Standard, offering easy front-door battery replacement and a one-touch test/silence button. It comes with a replaceable 9V alkaline battery included, an 85dB piezo alarm horn, and a visual LED power indicator. Tamper-resistant locking pins secure the battery drawer and mounting bracket. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty and certified to UL217, the SMI100 meets CSFM, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, and ICC code requirements — suitable for residential and institutional use including hospitals, hotels, motels, dormitories, and multifamily dwellings.
